Framecore (Pty) Ltd constructed 34 No. luxury apartments in the heart of the mother city for The Neighbourgood. The project boasts a concierge, office space, apartments and communal space. The project commenced in late 2020 and was split into five different phases – Demolitions, Mock Apartment, Initial Apartments, Common Areas and Roof Top space. View Project Team Board

Joshua Generation Church

Framecore (Pty) Ltd constructed the Joshua Generation Church facility over a period of 9 months from January 2022 to October 2022. The building consists of an auditorium, hall, male and female ablutions, classrooms, caffe / coffee shop and external entertainment facilities with ample open parking. This was a project was a greenfield construction project, meaning out of the ground. More than 22 000 man hours were spent on this project which was concluded without any accidents or incidents. Framecore takes safety very seriously on all projects with the aid of inhouse staff of trained professionals in the industry.

The Fedex Cargo Warehouse extension is the enlargement of the existing Fedex building footprint situated in Cape Town Airport Industria by an additional1200m2, consisting largely of warehouse space, complimented by an office component situated on a precast mezzanine floor. The additional space will allow Fedex to cope with the additional demand for shipping experienced in the country. View Project Team Board

The Scatec Solar Project that is situated at 03 Dock Road, consisted of the fit-out and upgrade in the Waterway House building situated at the V&A Waterfront in 2020 after the national COVID 19 lockdown. This second phase fit out would add much needed space of approximately 300m2 to Scatec’s growing operations after the initial fit out in 2017 of approximately 2000m2 of office space from a grey box floor plate situated on the 2nd storey of the building. Scatec Solar Waterway House
The project that commenced in early 2021 took approximately 10 months to complete. The building works consisted of extensive civil works (bulk excavations, cut to spoil and fill), concrete works, brickwork, plaster, MEPF services amongst other. The project of R33 Mil. in building value was split between Pick and Pay (as anchor) and the various line shops that complimented the building offering. Framecore worked closely with PR Engineering, WSP, SVA Architects and Construct Capital to deliver a successful project. View Project Team Board

Home of the South African Chefs Academy, Bootleggers, Woodstock Bakery, Deckle Edge, and various other tenants, the Brickworks building situated in Brickfield Road, Salt River was reinstated to its former glory in 2022 after being devastated by a fire that completely destroyed the 3rd floor and partially damaged the 2nd, 1st and ground floor storeys of the building, totalling more than 1900m2. The adjacent buildings that were consolidated to create one showroom and manufacturing space is situated at 48 Hopkins Road, Salt River, Cape Town. The works entailed. The combined space of just over 1000m2 entailed extensive alterations and demolition works accompanied with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire services as well as high end finishes with a high level of attention to detail.

Hoi P'loy Showroom
The Hoi P'loy Showroom project was the consolidation of two derelict buildings to create a masterpiece showroom and manufacturing space for Hoi P'loy lighting specialists. The project was construction over a 8 month period in 2019. View Project Team Board

Wheel of Excellence
Framecore commenced with the relocation of the Wheel of Excellence from the waterfront courtyard to the Breakwater Boulevard in 2022. The project was complimented with an excellent project team spearheaded by RLB as principal agent. View Project Team Board

The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront has moved the landmark Cape Wheel to a new location next to the breakwater! The project carried out over 4 months comprises of bulk earthworks in the new location situated next to the breakwater, piling and ground beams to provide a stable foundation for the Wheel once relocated in its final position. In addition, a new ticket office is being constructed in the adjacent parking garage, paving works and landscaping that will compliment the project and provide the finishing touches upon completion. Construction has commenced in October 2022 and is set for completion in February 2022.

The Black River Park Northern Courtyard Upgrade project commenced with planning as early as 2020, and finally in 2022 the project kicked off and finished early in 2023.
The project comprised of extensive upgrades to the courtyard that entailed removing all the existing floor finishes, new waterproofing, screeds, new tiles and landscaping. In addition the finishes where complimented by sunscreens, gabion walls, grass, decking etc.
The project was carried our over a total period of 6 months from commencement to handover.
