About us

Our History:

Framecore (Pty) Ltd was established in early 2016 with a vision to become a niche construction company and main contractor in Cape Town, Western Cape. It’s founders have a strong understanding of the holistic construction supply chain, having gained first hand experience in all aspects of delivering complex construction projects across the various sectors of the industry, nationally as well as internationally. Framecore’s primary focus is on the Commercial, Hospitality, Retail and Industrial sectors in and around the greater Cape Town area.

Our Vision for Framecore:

What truly sets us apart from the competition is our approach to our projects: There has always been a place for traditional tender based procurement in South Africa, and will likely be going forward; however what makes Framecore unique is our willingness and ability to get involved with projects upfront during the early stages of feasibility and design. With our Design-Build, Turnkey and Construction Management delivery experience, supplemented by a strong client focused team; our directors provide key input by value engineering with the project team from the start. We strongly believe the journey of delivery is equally as important as the end product.

Our Team:

The Framecore team is the culmination of many years of building relationships, cultivating trust and doing the hard yards together. Every individual has a unique role and place in the company to keep things going in the right direction. Have a look at our Directors and Managers below:

We wish Janice all the best and know that she will add another dimension to our operations with her skill and enthusiasm.
Mathilda Latigan
Mathilda joined Framecore in February 2020 as the company bookkeeper, and less than a month later she found herself in a National Lockdown, didn't we all! Despite this, Mathilda has kept a cool head and has done so ever since. She goes about her business methodically and efficiently, keeping order in the chaotic world of construction. She enjoys getting involved in all aspects of the business, especially the site inspections from time to time.
Nick Majekwana
Jr. Quantity Surveyor
Nick Tatenda Majekwana joined Framecore in January 2022 as a Junior Quantity Surveyor after completing his studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Nick was thrown in the deep end of some of our more challenging projects, and he passed with flying colours. We know that Nick will excel and grow quickly with his sharp mind and knack for numbers.

Meet Our Operational Team:

Robert Barratt
Contracts Manager
Even though Rob only joined the Framecore team recently, the directors and many of our managers have a long standing relationship with him, coming from the same stable. Rob is one of our very passionate, capable and driven contracts managers that don't take no for an answer. He has extensive experience delivering large scale projects not only in Cape Town, but across the country.
Michael Caisley
Contracts Manager
Michael has proven himself as a very capable and passionate manager of complex projects that require a methodical and pragmatic approach. He cut his teeth in the residential and commercial sectors of the industry but has been responsible ever since for delivering all types of projects. He is especially effective at implementing systems and procedures that large scale projects require to be delivered on time, within budget and to quality.
